The 9th season of Vijay Film Awards 2015 sponsored by Poorvika will be held on 25th April 2015. Vijay awards is one of the most popular film award show on Tamil Cinema. The 9th season is for tamil films released in 2014.The 9th annnual film awards show will be hosted by C Gopinath and Divyadharshini 

This award are presented by the Tamil television channel STAR Vijay to honour excellence in Tamil cinema. There are two sections in award category. The first one is jury category in which more than 28 awards are given based on the decision by a Jury. The second category is five favourite awards chosen by popular votes. This award show is conducted every year since 2006.

Malayalam TV host and Actress Jewel Mary  married Jenson Zachariah on 11 April 2015. The traditional christian wedding ceremony was held at a Church in Changanassery, native placee of Jenson . The marriage fand reception was attended by close friend and relatives only.

Jenson Zachariah is the program  director of  Onnum Onnum Moonu show on Mazhavil Manorama. 
Jewel Mary became very popular anchor through Idea D for Dance on Mazhavil Manorama. Their love blossomed when Jewel was working for D4dance show. Jewel took a break from D4dance to act with Mamootty in  malayalam Movie 'Pathemari' directed by Salim Ahmad. This movie is nearing its completion.


Jewel and Jenson got engaged 5 April 2015. The betrothal was solemnised in a church in Cochin.

Moonumani Serial on Flowers TV to launch on 12 April 2015

The upcoming Malayalam TV channel -Flowers TV-has announced the launch of a new mega serial 'Moonnumani'. The serial is directed by Baiju Devaraj.  The serial will be launched on 12 February 2015. Baiju Devaraj has directed and produced many serials including Surya TV serial Sarayu

Actress Sreelaya of Bhagyadevatha fame is heroine of the serial. The serial will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 700-730PM

Actress Jyothimayi married Director Amal Neerad

Malayalam Director/cinematographer Amal Neerad married actress Jyothirmayi in a private ceremony on 4 April 2015. The registered marriage took place at Amal Neerad's residence in Kochi in the presents of their parents,  close relatives and friends. This wedding news came as a surprise to many as both of us kept their private life away from the media.

Jyothirmayi began her career as a television anchor, model and serial actress and then in to film industry mainly by doing supporting roles. Her performance in Meesamadhavan made her popular actress of Malayalam cinema. She won Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress and National Film Award (Special Mention) for the movie Bhaavam (2002). She was also acted in Tamil movies and item numbers. 

Amala Neerad began his film career as a cinematographer at Ram Gopal Varma's production company for Bollywood films. Later he went on to produce and direct block buster films like Big B, Sagar Alias Jacky,Bachelor Party and Kullante Bharaya etc. His latest movie Iyobinte Pusthakam was one of the most noted movies of 2014. He was awarded National Award in 2001 for best cinematography for short feature section for the diploma film Meena Jha.
