Shakeela Athmakadha - Autobiography of Shakeela is released.

Actress Shakeela's autobiographys is now available in malayalam with a title Shakkeela -Aatmakadha. Shakeela mostly acted in film industries of Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, and Kannada languages.She had acted more than 110 movies, mostly in B grade movies.

Shakeela debuted through the Tamil soft porn movie, ‘Playgirls’ at the age of 20 as a supporting actress. Her big hit film was Kinnarathumbikal in Malayalam, which brought her under limelight. The returns on these films are assured even if they run only in 30 to 40 stations. Her popular B-Grade films were dubbed and released in almost all Indian languages.

She acted in more than 110 movies. She has also participated in Bigg Boss Kannada 2 .Shakeela has started appearing in comedy oriented family character roles in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada since 2003

Cricketer Sreesanth married Bhuvaneshwari

Cricketer Sreesanth married Jaipur princess Bhuvneshwari Kumari at Guruvayoor Sree Krishna temple in Kerala on December 12, 2013. He tied the knot with Nayan between 7.30 and 8.00 am.

The marriage was held as per the traditional Kerala Hindu style at an auspicious time this morning.The simple function was attended only by Sreesanth and Kumari's family and close friends.

After the auspicious ceremony both went to Kothamangalam,the native place of Sreesanth.The wedding dinner will be held at Crown Plaza in Cochin.

Later a wedding reception for guests and relatives will be held at the Le Meridian,Cochin at 7.00 pm.

Praveen Dev from Perumbavoor  is declared the winner of Gandharva Sangeetham 2013 in the senior category.There were five finalists. Malayalam Film actress Rima Kallingal married director Aashiq Abu in a simple ceremony at Kakkanad Sub-Registrar office on November 1, 2013. It was attended by close relatives and friends.

A day before their marriage, they donated Rs. 1 million to a hospital for the treatment of poor patients. The two had then said that they did not want any gala wedding celebrations and instead used the money for charity.

Kerala State television awards for 2012 were distributed

The State television awards 2013 for various categories in 2012 were distributed.


Mukundan, who acted in Sandhya Ragam, is the best male actor and Prem Prakash is the second best actor for his role in the same serial.

 Ananya, won the award for the best female actor for Doore broadcast on Mazhavil Manorama. Its sound recordist Ebby has been adjudged the best in that category. Rani Sharan is the second best female actor for her performance in Lorry Girl .

The telefilm Mazhayodoppam Mayunnathu, a censored programme written and directed by Manilal, has won the award in the category of films above 20 minutes. Manilal has won the award for the best director in the same category.

Sandhya Ragam , aired on Amrita TV and directed by Sivamohan Thampi, won the award for the second best serial in the feature category.

Frog, written and directed by Sanalkumar Sasidharan and telecast on Kairali People, won the award the best telefilm in the category of those below 20 minutes and Rithul Sreekumar, who acted in it, won the special jury award.

Actor Mukesh claimes his second marriage is legal

Following the registered marriage of Actor Mukesh to Methil Devika, controversies developed when his Ex-wife and actress Saritha claimed that their marriage is not yet over and blamed Mukesh for bigamy. According to Saritha, though she has been living separately for long and agreed for a mutual divorce with Mukesh, the marriage with Devika stands illegal as Mukesh didn't appear for any court hearings and the petition for divorce was withdrawn in 2010.

Mukesh on the other hand, maintains that they were living separately since 1996 and were granted divorce in Jan 2012 from family court in Ernakulam. Mukesh says that he have applied for his second marriage only after one and a half years since the divorce. Even though the marriage of Mukesh and Methil Devika is registered the official marriage ceremony with hindu customs will be held on 24 March 2014.

Actress Saritha Against Actor Mukesh and his second marriage

Actress Saritha, former wife of Actor Mukesh has come up with some starling allegations following Mukesh's marriage to dancer Methil Devika. According to a press release issued by Saritha, who is currently residing in Dubai, Mukesh has not legally divorced her and hence can't remarry.

“I am in Dubai along with my son Shravan Mukesh who is pursuing medicine course here. Myself and actor Mukesh Madhavan got married on 02.09.1988 in Kerala. But it came as a rude shock to me when I came to know from the press and media news that my husband has illegally married Methil Devika day before yesterday in Kerala.  Without getting our marriage legally dissolved, my husband has married the said Methil,” says Saritha.

 Mukesh and Saritha got married on September 2, 1988.“After marriage, Mukesh did not allow me to act even in decent effective roles in movies due to which I lost many good opportunities. Also Mukesh treated me with cruelty and caused enormous physical and mental agony by his indecent and irresponsible behaviour and was also an alcoholic,” she accuses."This had an adverse impact on our children and thus in 2007 I applied for divorce under Section 13(1) and 13(1-a) of the Hindu Marriage Act before the family court at Chennai seeking dissolution of our marriage and for alimony," Saritha says.

 Though Mukesh initially refused to dissolve the marriage, he later decided to move court seeking divorce. A divorce petition on mutual consent was filed before the family court in Chennai in 2009. Saritha alleged that the case couldn't be disposed of as Mukesh failed to turn up even once. Later, due to his consistent absence, the divorce petition was withdrawn by Saritha in 2010. The actress lives in Dubai with her older son, Shravan Mukesh, 24, who is doing his medicine there. The couple who were married in Kerala in 1988, have another son, Tejas Mukesh, 20.

 But Mukesh’s family clarified that all the allegations that Saritha had made is fake and they have the legal divorce paper from Madras High Court with them.

Famous malayalam actor Mukesh married accomplished classical dancer Methil Devika in a private ceremony at Mukesh house in Maradu on October 24, 2013. The simple ceremony was attended by his family members and close relatives. The marriage was registered at Maradu Registrar office and poojas were conducted at Thripunithara Puthiyakavu Temple.

Mukesh's nephew and actor Divyadarshan  informed that the couple has just registered their marriage and will enter wedlock in a traditional Hindu ceremony to be held in March. "The news about Maman's (Mukesh) register marriage somehow got leaked. The couple decided to register their marriage on October 24 as that was an auspicious day according to astrologers. However, they will tie the knot in a separate ceremony in March, and the date will be officially announced soon," says Divyadarshan.


This is second marriage of Actor Mukesh. He married actress Saritha in 1989 but got divorced in 2009. They have two sons.

Methil Devika is a famous classical dancer.She is the recipient of Devadasi National Award, Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for Mohiniyattom from Kendra Sangeet Natak Akademy and Kerala Sangeeta Nataka Akademi award.

She was born and brought up in Dubai, belong to Methil family in Palakkadu. She is the younger daughter of Rajagopalan Nair and Rajashri. As her father was an engineer is Kuwait, Devika spent most her childhood out side Kerala.  She has Masters Degree in Business Administration (Gold Medalist), Madras University, Tamil Nadu, 1998 and Masters Degree in Fine Arts (Gold Medalist-Kuchipudi), Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, 2000. She submitted  her doctoral Thesis in 2013 to Bharathidasan University. A native of Palakkad, Ms. Devika is a disciple of S. Natarajan, Vempatty Chinnasatyam, Satyapriya Ramana, Chirala Krishna and Girija Chandran. She dances Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattom. She was in the judging panel of Amrita TV's Lasyam Program. She has done a choreography of the movie Karmayogi.

 Methil Devika is currently working as a lecturer of Kerala Kalamandalam and is the artistic director of Palakkad-based Sripada Natya Kalari. It is believed that the relationship of  Mukesh and Devika began years earlier when both of them were working together for Kerala Sangeetha Nataka (Music & Drama) Academy, where Mukesh was the chairman and Devika was a member.The dancer had informed during an interview with a publication that the two have known each other for over a year, and since there was pressure from her family to tie the knot, they decided to take the plunge.
