Actress Ann Augustine, daughter of late malayalam actor Augustine married cinematographer Jomon T John at St. Sebastian's Church, marutharvattom, Cherthala in Alappuzha on Sunday, February 2, 2014. A colorful wedding reception was arranged at Travancore Palace following the marriage ceremony.

The wedding ceremony and marriage reception functions were star studded events with many celebrities attending both the functions. This include actors Suresh Gopi, Jayasurya, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Dhyan Sreenivasan, actresses Revathy, Kavya Madhavan, Meera Nandan, Archana Kavi, Shamna Kasim, directors Ranjith, Lal jose, Joy Mathew, Shyama Prasad, Joshy and Cameraman P Sukumar among others.

Ann Augustine, who has made debut in malayalam movie industry through Lal Jose Elsamma Enna Aankutty is now an established as an actress through various movie including ordinary, Three Kings, Da Thadiya etc. Her recent movie Artist with Fahad Fazil was also claimed critical acclaim.

Jomon T John is now  famous as a cinematographer through his works in movies like Chappa Kurissu, Beautiful, Thira,Thattathin Marauathu etc.

Chandanamazha is a remake of Star Plus hindi Serial 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' (meaning :Fulfil This Companionship). The hindi television drama series was launched on 3 May 2010 worldwide on STAR Plus. Its Telugu dubbing version is available in Maa TV with a name Kodala Kodala Koduku Pellamaa. Its Tamil version is Deivam Thantha Veedu in Vijay Tv

The original hindi version is written by Ved Raj,Gautam Hegde and Jyoti Tandon and directed by Pawan Kumar.

Story :
Chandanamazha is the story of two cousins Amrita and Varsha, who are completely opposite from each other. Amrita is an orphan who leaves with her uncle and cousin Varsha. She is very innocent and is illiterate. On the other hand, Varsha is very wise and greedy like her mother. The story starts with Urmila Desai's search for a perect bride for her son Arjun. She chooses Amrita as her daughter-in-law. This makes Varsha jealous. After marriage Amritha wins everybody's heart in the family except Arjun. What will happen next. Sreya Jayadeep, 7 year old girl from Kozhikkodu is declared the winner of  Surya Singer Reality Show. She got the title trophy and  Prize money of 10 Lakh Rupees. The music reality show was conducted for kids aged between 6 to 13 by Surya TV. There were six contestants in the final round. The grand finale was on 23  January 2014. Surya Singer is a popular television reality show on Surya TV.

K.B. Ganesh Kumar Second Marriage with Bindu Menon

The second marriage of Actor and Ex- minister Ganesh Kumar (47 yrs) with Bindu Menon was held on Friday 24 January 2014 Vaazhakam Keezhoottu Veettil the Tharavadu (family house of Ganesh Kumar) at Kottarakara. Only close reletives and friends were present at the function. Actor Dileep, director Shaji Kailas were among the celebrities who attended the function.

 Bindu Menon (43 yrs ) is a prominent officer in the marketing section of Asianet channel’s Gulf bureau. This is Bindu's second marriage too. She has a son from her previous marriage.

 The engagement between the couple took place in Bindu’s residence ('Aswathy in Palakkad Vidhyut Nagar) in Palakkad last year.

A small marriage reception function was held at the Indian Coffee House. It is reported that love between Ganesh and Bindu bloomed when they were working together for Asianet for shows and other functions. The wedding has happened with the blessings from their family and well-wishers.

Ganesh Kumar recently got divorce from his first wife Yamini Thankachi due to some controversies. He has two sons, who are staying with his ex-wife Yamini Thankachi.
