Actress Samvrutha Sunil is back to lime light with Nayika Nayakan Show on Mazhavil Manorama

Actress Samvrutha Sunil is coming back to screen after a gap thouth Mazhavil Manorama channels talent hunt show -Nayika Nakaan. A show for finding hero and heroine of Lal Jose’s latest film. Nayika Nayakan will be launched on May 28th, 2018 to find hero and heroine for a malayalam movie directed by Lal Jose. The new show will be broadcasted every Monday to Wednesday at 9:00 PM.

The promos are going on air now on her return to lime light.Actress Samvritha (Samvrutha) Sunil, who is still a girl-next-door for Keralites, has been away from the limelight for quite sometime now. The promos highlight the return of Samvrutha Sunil to lime light again as a judge of this talent hunt reality show.

She started her film career through Rasikan directed by LalJose and became part of many movies directed by him and others. Samvrutha Sunil made her debut in 2004 through the film Rasikan directed by her mentor Lal Jose, she has starred in over 40 Malayalam films and in a few Telugu and Tamil films. Her performances include in the films Arabikkatha (2007), Chocolate (2007), Thirakkatha (2008), Boomi Malayalam (2009), Cocktail (2010), Manikyakkallu (2011), Swapna Sanchari (2011), Arike (2012), Diamond Necklace (2012) and Ayalum Njanum Thammil (2012). The movie 101 Weddings (2012) was her last movie before hiatus from entertainment industry. She always maintained that she will come back given a good chance. Now she is back to screen, but this time to mini-screen when she got a call from her mentor Laljose.

Samvritha Sunil from Kannur and she married to  Akhil Jayaraj.After entering wedlock in 2012, the talented artiste shifted to the US with her US based engineer husband Akhil Jayaraj and is now the mother of a two-year-old boy named Agastya.

Lal Jose Show Nayika Nayakan on Mazhavil Manorama will have many male and female contestants selected after audition rounds . He along with Actress Samvrutha Sunil and Actor Kunjacho Boban will judges the performance of the contestants and will deceide the winners of Nayika Nayakan. Pealey Maney will host the show. Malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama is all set to launch their brand new reality show Nayika Nayakan on May 28th, 2018 to find hero and heroine for a malayalam movie directed by Lal Jose. The new acting talent show will be broadcasted every Monday to Wednesday at 9:00 PM. The promos shows that the winners of the show will be given a chance to be the hero and heroine from the selected set of male and female contestants from auditions. Mazhavil Manorama recently launched another chat show Nakshathra Thilakkam on 14th may 2018

Nayakan -Nayakan will be a director Lal Jose Show. He along with Actress Samvrutha Sunil  and Actor Kunjacho Boban will judges the performance of the contestants and will deceide the winners of Nayika Nayakan. Pealey Maney will host the show. Nayika Nayakan on Mazhavil Manorama is  similar to Surya TV' Vivel active fair big break telecasted in 2011 for finding heroine for Lal Jose Movie. The winners of the show Anusree (Diamond Necklace fame), Chandini Sreedharan (KL 10 Patthu, Darvinte Parinamam) are noted film actress now. The finalists of Big Break show,  Swasika Vijay  and Amala Rose Kurian are also active in Television Serials and Movies. Avanthika Mohan Quits Athmasakhi serial on Mazhavil Manorama

Popular malayalm actress Avanthika  has decided to quit the very popular Athmasakhi serial recently. She plays the lead role of a bold and modern character Nanditha who is a doctor by profession in this Malayalam TV series. Athmasakhi was launched in  May 2016 on Malayalm GEC channel Mazhavil Manorama.

This fiction is produced by Shobana Umadharan under the popular banner Sauparnika Creations. The story and script is written by noted TV actress Sangeetha Mohan and the show is directed by Mohan Kupleri.  Rayjan Rajan plays the role of the hero Sathyajith IPS. The actors and actresses include Manu Nair, Beena Antony, Sree Raksha, Sanjay, Jishin Mohan, Sangeetha Mohan etc . The protrayal of Nadhitha by Avanthika was well received by the audience and they were not happy when a new actress Divya replaced here.

The Malayalam TV serial audience were clueless about the change. Avanthika Mohan finally  revealed the reason why she quits the serial in an intereview given to a National Daily that '"I am experiencing a special phase of my life and doctors advised me to take a 3 months bed rest that's why I was forced to quit the show. I am pregnant.The initial days are very crucial and so I need to take care of the baby within me. Busy shooting schedules really affected my health" she revealed this happy news on Maother Day. She also added that she is looking forward to the first mother's day next year. She is planing to come back to entertainment industry after this break.

Avanthika has acted in many movies including those in  Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages. She made her debut film, Yakshi – Faithfully Yours and was later seen in films including Crocodile Love Story (2012) and Mr. Bean (2013). 2014 she made her Tamil debut with Aalamaram. In May 2016, she debuted as a telvision actress through the TV series Athmasakhi .Later in June she made her Telugu Television debut through Raja Rani in which she plays a strong and innocent school teacher.She is getting positive reviews from both TV series.

Avanthika married Anil Kumar Kainth, a pilot by profession,  on August 31, 2017 at Kozhikode. It was a love cum arranged marriage. Rituals like Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeeth in Punjabi style were held on 30th August 2017. Congrats to Avanthika.

Actor Kalasala Babu passed away

Malayalam Actor Kalasala Babu -known for his roles in Malayalam Films, Television Serials and drama -passed away at the age of 68y on 13th May 2018 Night in Ernakulam. He was suffering from heart-related problems and was under treatment for the past three months. His health condition deteriorated after he reportedly suffered a stroke during an emergency surgery. He breathed his last on Sunday due to cerebral hemorrhage. He is survived by his wife Lalitha and children, Sreedevi who resides in the US and Viswanthan who resides in Ireland.

Kalasala Babu is the son of Kathakali maestro Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair and Kalamandalam Kalyanikutty Amma-renowned Mohiniyattam danseuse. He is active part of entetainement industry for more than 45 years. He debuted as a drama actor through plays ('Manishada' , Drishyanjali') mostly produced by Kalidasa Kala Kendram. He debuted as a film actor in 1977, in Inayethedi, the first venture of John Paul, George Kitho, Kaloor Dennis and Antony Eastman as hero of Silk Smitha, but the film was a flop. As he was not getting good response in films, he launched his own drama troupe called Kalasala in Tripunithura, which had artistes such as Thilakan and Surasu among others. This is how he got the name 'Kalasala Babu'.  The theater group was active for more than 10 years.

He started his television career through a telefilm 'Kala' made for Doordarshan in the year 1999. He essayed important roles in as many as 28 mega serials. His television serials include Kadamattath Kathanar,Swamy ayyapan,Lipstick,,Police Story, Kudumbayogam Mattoruval, Devimahatmyam, Amma, Ramayanam, Vallarpadathamma,Indira,Sooryakaladi,Parassini shri Muthappan,Sathyam Shivam Sundaram Jagratha,etc

He came back to silver screen in 2003 through  Kasthooriman. Directed by Lohithadas, the film made him a popular choice to play the villain role. Following which he acted in more than 100 films, mostly in negative or villain or elderly roles.
