Singer Najim Arshad To Marry Thazni

Singer Najim Arshad is going to marry Thazni, from Adoor near Punalur. She is a medical student (BDS) in Bangalore.  The engagement of Najim Arshad with Thazni will took place in April 2014. The marriage date and venue is not yet finalized. They are waiting for Thazni to complete the course and house surgency.

The wedding news of Najim Arshad was confirmed by the Singer himself in a recent interview on Kairali Channel.

Najim Arshad  is now established as a playback singer with more than 50 songs to his credit and more than 20 songs in pipeline. Mission 90 Days was his debut film as a playback singer. The song from LalJose movie 'Diamond Necklace' Thottu thottu composed by Vidya sagar was a big break for him. He has many hit songs to his credit including songs from  recent movies Drishyam, Oru Indian Pranayakadha etc. In the mean time he also made debut in bollywood through his hindi song 'Kaafiron Ki Namaaz'

He was the winner of the most popular reality show Idea Star Singer 2007 on Asianet.

Recently, he won the best playback singer award for his songs in movies Drishyam and Immanuel during the film critics assaociation award for 2013.

Najim Arshad is the son of Tirumala Shahul (retired as administrative officer from Vigilance Department) and Rehma (music teacher). He has two elder brothers Ajim Shad & Sajim Shad.  He is the native of Valiyavila, Trivandrum district in Kerala.

Najim Arshad has completed his a post-graduation in music with first rank, from Sree Swati Tirunal College of Music, Kerala University.

The music reality show will be aired every Monday to Thursday at 800 PM.

The season 7 will not have any anchor for the first time in Star Singer Seasons!  The judges themselves will be acting as host of the show.
