Malayalam Channel Asianet and its associate channels Asianet Plus and Asianet Movies have anounced their Onam 2017 premier movies and Special Programs. Lot of new malayalam movies and special chat and cooking shows have been arranged to entertain the Kerala audience in this Onam  2017. The new shows and programs are filled with amusement and fun to make the viewers hooked to the screen all these days.

Onam 2017 in Kerala : Thiruvonam on September 2, 2017 

Onam is celebrated every year  in the beginning of the month of Chingam,with the first month of the solar Malayalam calendar (Kollavarsham). The ten day celebration starts Atham day. It falls in August or September each year. Kerala's harvest festival Onam is getting ready to welcome Onam. The most important day is Thiruvonam, second Onam that falls on Monday , September 4, 2017 this year. It is proceeded by Uthradam (first onam) on September 3, 2017 and Pooradam on September 2. Thiruvonam day is followed by third and fourth Onam days respectively.
