Popular Malayalam Serial  Balamani on Mazhavil Manoram has reached its climax. The Final episode of Balamani Serial will be telecasted on 26 June 2015 at 9:30 PM.  That will be 380 th Episode of Balamani Serial. 

Balamani is the adaptation of Peythozhiyum Neram', a novel by Mayadevi appeared on a popular Malayalam weekly. Balamani is directed by Girish Konni and script is written by Murali Vallandu   The story of Balamani revolves around Sumangala of Azhakathu family,  her sons Aravind, Anand and Anathu and her three daughters-in-laws- Balamani, Abhirami and Mythili. Actress Vinaya Prasad plays the role of Sumangala. Actress Devika Nambiar gave life to the character Balamani.  Adityan Jayan, Giridhar , Jayakrishan, Anlanteena, Souparnika Vijay were the main actors of this serial.

Balamani  was one of the most popular drama series on Mazhavil Manorama till the death of the character Sumangala. Then the serial lost its focus and deviated from the main story and characters resulting in lowering of viewership. Now the serial will be replaced by a new serial Mayamohini

In the last few episodes,  Father Joseph Ellikkan  tries to restore the broken friendship between the four friends and their respective married lives. Meera purses her dream after getting a new life; Bhama is back to the life of Radheyan; Immanuael and Annie starts new life. He also ask Radha to consider a new life with Mukundan. She agrees. Unfortunately, father Ellikkan got killed in an accident. Last episode reveals that he was killed by Rugmini with the help of Surenndran. However, fate was against her and she ends up in hospital, paralyzed. When the three friends, Emmanuel, Mukundan and Radheyan prey for Ellikkan at his grave they met father Thomas/Jospeh Vadakkan.
