Bhagya jathakam television serial is directed by Sreejith Paleri based on a story, script and dialogue Anil Bass and produced by Bini Jayakrishnan. Bhagyajathakom tells the story of Indulekha and her struggles in life. State award winning actress Shafna Nizam is giving life to the female protagonist Indu in this series . Story Line of Bhagya jathakam - Bhagya jathakam narrates the story of Indulekha (or Indu), a  22 year girl born into an affluent Shenoy family but abandoned by the family at birth. She was raised in a poor household and she lives with the money she gets by selling milk.  But fate had another plans of her.  The marriage of Arun the only son of Mr Shenoy, was cancelled due to horoscope issues. According to astologoer his first wife may die within six months into the marriage. So they decided to find a poor girl after temporarily holding the marriage with Abhirami, daughter of Shenoy, who was in love with Arun. 

This is how Indu was selected. She get married to Arun without knowing the truth that she is the heir to all property of Shenoy family and started living there with her own mother. Time passed by and nothing happened to Indulekha even after 6 months.  The astrologer also realized that Indulekha’s horoscope is a lucky one and the  prediction went wrong due to incorrect birth time. This came as a shock to Mr Shenoy and everyone . They all wanted to get rid of Indulekha at any cost and her life again takes another turn. What happens next ?

Winners of second  Mazhavil Mango Music Awards 2018 were distributed in a colorful event held at Adlux Convention Centre, Angamaly on 7 August 2018. The show will be telecasted on Saturday August 17th, 2018 and Sunday, August 18th, 2018 at 7:00 PM

Mazhavil Mango Music Awards given by Malayalam channel Mazhavil Manorama and FM channel Radio Mango was introduced in 2017. This  music awards  aim to find the best music talents in the movie industry. The competition is for movies released during July 2017 and July 2018.

Manjusha Mohandas (star singer fame) dies in a road accident

Idea star singer fame Manjusha Mohandas (26) passed away on August 2, 2018 (Thrusday). She had met with an accident last week.

According to reports, Manjusha and her friend Anjana were travelling in a two-wheeler when a van plying on wrong side of the road rammed into them. The incident took place on MC Road in Thanipuzha, Angamaly, on 27 July. The two were admitted to a private hospital in Angamaly. The two of them were students at Sree Sakaracharya University of Sanskrit in Kalady. Following the accident, she and her friend were admitted to a private hospital in Angamaly.  After viewing that her condition was critical she was shifted to a private hospital in Kochi. Manjusha had underwent treatment for nearly a week before she succumbed to her injuries.

Manjusha was a participant in the 2009 season of the popular music show Idea Star Singer produced by Asianet. She had joined the reality in 2009 which was judged by S.P.Balasubramanyam, M.G.Sreekumar, K.S. Chithra and Sarath. She had impressed the audience and judges alike with her rendition of several songs. Joby John was the winner of Ideas Star singer Season 9 . After the competition of the show, Manjusha got married and her wedding video went viral instantly.

Manjusha  has acted in  Malayalam movies as a child artist. She played the younger role of the character portrayed by actress Kaveri'  in the Malayalam movie Vasanthiyum Lekshmiyum Njanum' starring Kalabhavan Mani in the lead role. She was also a trained classical dancer.

Dr Ram is a new Malayalam serial launching on 16th July 2018 on Malayalam GEC Mazhavil Manorama. The serial will be aired every Monday to Friday at 7:00 PM. Pranayini is currently being aired on this schedule and it will be replaced by Dr Ram Serial.

Dr Ram serial handles one of the rare theme aired on Malayalam Television screen. This serial deals with about the hospital, doctor and medical professionals and how they deal with difficult medical situations they face in day to day basis. Only a very few serials including Shamnathalam- Malayalam serial by by Shayamaprasad, Hindi serials like life line, Sanjevani and Ayushamanbhava etc are among the medical serials aired on Indian TV.

 The promos of the serial suggest an over dramatized version of Dr House, House MD, an American medical television drama. Dr Rama shows how a group of medical professional deals with the health issues of patients while they are themselves struggling with their personal issues.  The full cast and crew, story line, director details will be updated soon.

Actor Manoj Pillai Passed Away

Malayalam Actor Manoj Pillai(43) passed away in Thiruvananthapuram due to liver related diseases. His final rites will be on Friday 22, June 2018 at Sahntikavadam in Thiruvananthapuram. He is survived by his wife Sunitha.

Manoj Pillai was a native of Kundara in Kollam district in Kerala. He is known to Malayalam audience mostly through Malayalam Television Serials. He has also acted in numerous movies.

Manoj Pillai is mainly noted for his role as Murali Krishna Panikkar in  Manjurukum Kalam Serial on Mazhavil Manorama Channel. His roles in super hit serial like Amala ( Mazhavil Manorama),  Chandanamazha (Asianet), Soubhagyavathi etc were also noted and he became a familar face to Malayalam mini-screen audience. He was also part of latest mazhavil manorama serial Bhramanam. He acted as  police officer in the first few episodes of that serial .

Winners of Miss Queen of India 2018 | Lekshmi Menon Won the title

Miss Queen of India 2018 winners List : Lekshmi Menon   from Thrissure , Kerala won the title of Manappuram Miss Queen of India 2018. Simran Malhotra from Punjab won the first runners up title. Aiswarya Sahdev from  New Delhi is the Second runners up. They were selected from 19 contestants from various parts of India.

Previous year winner Ms. Akansha Misra crowned the overwhelmed Miss Queen of India 2017 winner. The contest was conducted in three rounds: Designer saree, Black cocktail, and Red gown. The specialty of this beauty contest is the lack of swim suit round.Miss Queen of India presented by Manappuram Finance Ltd and Powered by Sera, DQue Watches, and T-Shine. An event by Pegasus and directed by Dr. Ajit Ravi Pegasus.

The 8th edition of Miss Queen of India was conducted at Camilot Convenction Cente in Alappuzha , Kerala.  The event directed by Ajit Ravi Pegasus with Manappuram finance Ltd as the main Title Partner of the event. The event tested the skills and talents of the 16 finalists to see if they are worthy for the ultimate title of Miss Queen of India.

Title winner,  Lakshmi Menon is from Thrissure in Kerala. She has completed B.Tech in electronics and communication from CUSAT in Kochi. She is now busy with modelling. She was the runner up of Miss Kerala Fitness and  Fashion Peagent 2017-28. Lakshmi is looking forward to participate Miss queen of India 2018. She also a television host and anchor. Lekshmi Menon is also the winner of Miss South India 2018

In addition to the title winners, there were four regional title winners and 12 subtitle winners.
