Emi better known by her stage name Varada, is a Malayalam Film & Television Actress and Anchor.

 Actress Varada made her acting debut in Malaayalam Movie Sultan (2008). She had also acted in Makante Achan(2009), Uthara Swayamvaram (2010), Valiyangadi (2010), Kaadhalikkalama ( Tamil- 2012), Ajantha (2014).

She made her debut as Television Actress through Surya TV Serial Snehakoodu. Later she did a role in Mazhavil Manoram Serial Hridam Sakhi . She is currently playing the title role of Amala in Mazhavil Manorama Television Serial Amala. She is also the anchor of Asianet plus show Raree Rareram Raro. Following the success of Amala, she grabbed the role of Lekshmi in Pranayam Serial

Personal Life
Amala is the daughter of Mohan (businessman) and Pushpa (beautician).  She has an younger brother Eric. Varada belong to tradination Chrstina Family from Thrissure Kerala. She has completed her under graduation. She married Actor Jishin Mohan in a simple ceremony on May 25, 2014. They were blessed with a baby boy JIAN on 23rd March 2017

PriyaSakhi a Show For Women on Surya TV To Start on 6th April 2014

PriyaSakhi - Be a Woman of Substance is a new show on Surya TV exclusively for Women . This women's Magazine will be launched by Surya TV on on 6th April 2014. The telecast time is every Sunday at 1.30 Pm. So far Surya TV has not anounced any re-telecast time for this show.

The host of this show is Rosin Jolly, a participant of Malayalee House, a  popular Reality Show on Surya TV.

The segments of this show include fashion and clothing trends, remedies for beautiful body and face, tips for healthy life style and they are named it as Trendz, Veda, the hero, health fix, Shades of life etc


Similar oman's magazine-style television programme was launced by Asianet recently with a name Valkannadi.

Actress Urvashi's Second Marriage with Sivaprasad | Marriage News

Famous malayalam Actress Urvashi married Shivan (Sivaprasad) in a private ceremony n Chennai followed by registered marriage in November 2013. She confirmed the news on second marriage in an interview to a malayalam magazine. The bridegroom Sivan is leading a construction company in Chennai. Shivan is originally from Punaloor, Kollam.

 It is an arranged marriage with the blessings of both of their families. Shivan is a close of friend of Urvashi's brother Kamal (late). After the marriage, both of them are living in Chennai.

Urvashi added that Shivan came to her life as a friend in 2009. They took 4 years to know each other and now they have entered into married life.

It is the first marriage of Shivan and second marriage of Urvashi. Urvashi married Actor Manoj K Jayan on 11 October 2000. It was a love marriage. However, they got  divorced in late 2008. They have a daughter Tejalakshmi. She is now living with Manoj K Jayan. Later Manoj K. Jayan married Asha and they have son named Amrit.

Urvashi is an established actress in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu movies. She won Kerala State award for best actress five  times and National Award for best supporting actress one time.

Update on August 2014

Urvashi and Shivaprasad are blessed with a baby boy. As per reports both mother and baby are doing fine. This is Urvashi's second child. She has a daughter with her first husband Manoj K Jayan, named as Thejalekshmi (Kunjatta). The news on pregnancy were confirmed by her in April 2014.

The grand Finale Of Little Stars Malayalam Reality Show for kids On Asianet Television will be held on Sunday 30th March 2014 at 6.00 P.M. This show was telecasted every Sunday for the last one year. This talent search show was for kids below 15 years with mult-talents. Grand Finale is on this Sunday at 6.00 P.M. There are five finalists of the show.
