The Officer Serial on Amrita TV to begin on July 1, 2015

Amrita TV, Malayalam TV channel has announced the launch of a new mega serial 'The Officer'. The new serial will be launched on July 1, 2015. The serial will be telecasted every Monday to Thursday 800 -830 PM. Actor Kishore Sathya is playing a main character of the investigative office in this daily tele series. Other actors in this cine series include Meera Krishna.

The officer is about crime and investigation. It is going to be an interesting thriller to watch. Ithal is another serial currently on Amriat TV starring actress Meera Nair  in the lead role.

Mayamohini is the story of bold and beautiful Urmilla who was forced to change her identity as a man (Unnikrishnan) to escape from police and to save sister from Yamini Bhai. Viswanathan, father of Urmila and Anu, is a wealthy businessman and a loving father who brought up his children single handedly after the death of his wife. One day, he goes missing and a lady named Yamini Bai enters Viswanathan's house and claims to be his wife and mother of Anu. Urmila escaped from her clutches when she tries to kill her. She disguised herself as Unnikrishnan and is determined to find her missing father and save her younger sister .The theme of Mayamohini  take the viewers through how the journey of Urmila  and how she conquers Yamini Bhai and how she saves her sister who is in Yamini Bhai’s trap.

Story of Sundari Serial
The theme of the serial is about a girl next door, named Gadha. Due to some special circumstances in her life she took up a job of a bus conductor. The 'sundarikutty' bus conductor and make the audience and the travellers spellbound. This soap opera is about the darling of Manjadikunnu.

The role of sundhari is portrayed by malayalm film actress Shafna Nizam. This is the debut serial of Shafna as heroine of malayalam TV serial. Shafna started her career as a child artist in Chinthavishta yaya Shyamala (1998), directed by Sreenivasan. She later acted in many films in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil Languages. Bol Baby Bol on Malayalam Channel Surya TV is a new singing game show for kids. The new music reality show will be launched on Surya TV on 25 June 2015 at 9:00 PM.  This brand new show on Surya TV is sponsored by Ramraj dhotis and Shirts.

The music reality show Bol Baby Bol will be aired every Thursday -Friday at 9:00 PM.  The show is inspired by an Ameircan show Dont forget the lyrics on Fox television. The first Indian  version was telecasted on  Star TV in 2007-2008 with the title Bol Baby Bol and the show was hosted by Singer Adnan Sami  The telugu channel Gemini TV, part of Sun network, is now telecasting the season 6 of the music game show Bol Baby Bol . The same show on sun network is slightly different from hindi version as guessing the lyrics is replaced mostly by guessing the tune. This  new concept used in Bol Baby Bol Telugu and Malayalam singing game versions.

Surya TV is currently showing family serials  Punarjani, Bhagyalekshmi, Ishtam,  Sangamam and  Spandanam. As per Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) for week 23 in 2015, the malayalam channel Surya TV back on 2nd position after Asianet.  The relatively new Mazhavil Manorama was in second position earlier. The new show may help the channel to maintain their rating.
