The Television awards were distributed in a colorful show on  19th May from 6.00 P.M onward at Alsaj convenction Center ,Kazhakoottam, Trivandrum . Actor Jayaram and Parvathy were the chief guest. Life time achievement award were given to Actor Innocent for his contribution to the entertainment industry.

Vanambadi serial won the popular serial award while Sajan Surya and Chippy Renjith received the best actor awards. Praveen Kadakkavoor won the award for best director for the serial Karuthamuthu. Vanambadi serial won nearly 9 awards in various categories -Best Serial,Best Actress,Best Script writer,Best Cameraman,Best Music Director ,Best Lyricist,Best Singer,Best Child artist,Best New face (hero),Best Dubbing (female). Adil Ibrahim-Anchor of Still Standing Show on Mazhavil Manorama

Adil Ibrahim to host Mazhavil Manorama reality show Still Standing : Actor turned TV host Adhil will be the anchor of the new show on malayalam Channel Mazhavil Manorama. He was the co-host of the dance reality show D4 Dance Season 3 along with Pearly Maaney. He also hosted D 4 Dance Reloaded on the same channel

Still Standing Show is launched on May 27th, 2017,  Saturday at 8:30 PM. The show will be telecasted every Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 PM. It is the Malayalam version of American show segment 'Know or Go' .Still Standing Show on Mazhavil Manorama aims to test the knowledge of the contestants and they can  earn upto 10 lakhs from this game show. The contestants selected through audition process have to answer questions based on topics by the host itself. If they get a question wrong, the contestant gets dropped through trap door. This is is highlighted as the novelty of the show.

Adil worked as a Radio Jockey and producer at RadioMe (100.3 FM Dubai) .He debuted as an actor through Sangeeth Sivan’s Endless Summer (2014). His recent movie is Achayans directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam . He has already established himself as a model, Radio Jocky and Television Anchor.

Still Standing Show   is a brand new reality show on Malayalam Channel on Mazhavil Manorama. The show will be launched on May 27th Saturday at 8:30 PM. Nagakanyaka 2 Serial on Surya TV from 19th June 2017

Nagakanyaka 2 on Surya TV is the season 2 of the dubbed serial Nagakanyaka aired on Surya TV. The first season was launched on Malayalam Channel Surya TV on 20th June 2016.  It is was one of the top -rated show on Surya TV . The launch date and telecast time of Nagakanyaka 2 is not yet announced.

Naga Kanyaka 2 (Naaga Kanyaka2) - dubbed version of  the second season of Naagin premiered on 8 October 2016 and airs weekends at 8:00 pm IST. Nagin is is created by Colors TV based on Indian Mythology. The thriller serial is conceived by Seema Shrivastav and stories are by Mrinal Jha, R.M Joshi, Neha Singh and Ankush Nagpal. the serial is directed by Santram Varma, Chandni, Niraj, Lalit Marathe and Rakesh Chowdhury.

The main start cast of first season were Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani, Adaa Khan, and Sudha Chandran. Nagakanyaka 2 Serial on Surya TV 

Nandhini  is another super hit serial on snake theme currently airing on Surya TV. Vezhambal - Malayalam Serial on Asianet from May 15th, 2017

Vezhambal Serial: Namkaran hindi serial-Malayalam  dubbed version on Asianet : Vezhambal is a new Malayalam Serial on Asianet television Channel from May 15th, 2017. The episodes will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 6:00 PM.

Vezhambal is the dubbed versions of hindi serial Naamkarann aired on Hindi Channel Star Plus which has completed nearly 200 episodes since its premier on 12 September 2016.  Vezhambal  will take the time slot of Seethayanam on Asianet.Neermathalam is another new serial recently launched on Asianet serial with Rebecca Santhosha as the lead actor.

Vezhambal is directed by Mahesh Bhatt and Loknath Pandey based on the story from Hindi movie Zakhm. Udan Panam is the new game show on Mazhavil Manorama. Malayalam Channel Mazhavil Manorama is all set to launch Udan Panam. The show will be launched on 11th May 2017 at 9:00 PM. The show will be telecasted on every Thurdays and Fridays at 9:00 PM.

 Anchors Raj Kalesh and Mathukutty will host the show. The winner can get up to 5 lakhs in cash.

Kishore Satya quits Karuthamuthu Serial on Asianet

Actor Kishore Satya quits  Karutha Muthu serial on Asianet.  He played the role of Dr Balachandran in this top -rated serial. Ever since he announced his plan to leave the serial many rumours were spreading in the media.

 Kishore Satya cleared the rumors through his facebook page that it is due to change in story line he leaves the serial. Story of Karutha muthu is going take a 18 year leap and most of the actors will be replaced. He dont have much to play in the new story line.

 Karuthamuthu  was launched on 20th October 2014. Actor Kishore Satya was part of 765 episodes of Karutha Muthu serial by directed by Praveen Kadakkavur  under the banner Bros creations.  The central male character Dr Balachandran stealed the attention of viewers as it was unlike other male characters in min-screen due to the manly, bold, and loving nature of Balachandran and his support to his wife Karthika, the heroine of the serial played by  Actresses Premi Viswanath  and  Renu Souder. In the new story line actress Niya will play the aged version of Karthika will be played by actress Niya. Who will be the new Balachandran we will update soon


Kishore got many awards for his role as Balachandran in this tele-series including best actor awards at the Asianet Television Awards 2016. He was also the anchor Asianet Film and Television awards during this time period.

Kishore Satya is leaving the serial also better options . He is part of many movies now which include Lakshaym by Anzar Khan. He also acted in James & Alice,Oozham and Swarna Kaduva in 2016.

One of major rumour was that he was removed from the serial due to his increased demand for remuneration. Another one was the recent tug of war between actress Charmila and Kishore over past relationship that is not suitable for the image of Dr Balachandran, Rama incarnation character. Actress Meghna Vincent quits Chandanamazha serial on Asianet

Popular Malayalam actress Meghna Vincent -heroine of Chandanamzha- has decided to quit the very popular Chandana Mazha  serial currently aired on Malayalam Channel Asianet. She also quits the Tamil version of the serial  Daivam thanta Veedu serial on Star Vijay. She better known as Amrita in Chandanamazha to malyalai audience and as Seetha in Daivan thanta Veedu to Tamil Audience.  Who will be the new Amrita, we will update soon.

Chandanamazha is a remake of Star Plus hindi Serial 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' has completed 980 Episodes. It is one of the longest and successful serial on Indian Television. Ever since, Meghna decided to quits the serial, false news is spreading in the social media that she was eliminated from the serial for reasons known to the team. But she clarifies that she quits the serial herself to concentrate on her marriage . It was impossible for the Chandanamazha serial team to grant her more than 30 days leave. So decided to quit. She will be taking a break of nearly 3 months to focus on most important event on her life- her marriage.

Neermathalam Serial-Cast, Crew, Telecast date, time, actors, actresses, wiki etc: Neermathalam is a new Malayalam horror Serial on Malayalam entertainment Channel Asianet.  The promos of the serial is out announcing the launch of the new family drama. The serial is directed by S Janrdhanan. He is the director of  Kalyana Sougandhikam and  Parasparam serials on Asianet.

Neermathalam serial will be aired every Mon-Friday at 6:30 PM. Sthreepadam Serial On Mazhavil Manorama from April 17, 2017

Sthreepadham Serial on Mazhavil Manorama | Sthreepadam teelseries on Mazhavil Manorama: Malayalam Channel Mazhavil Manorama has announced the launching of new malayalam serial Sthreepadm.The new soap opera will be launched on 17th April 2017 at 7:00 PM, replacing Krishnathulasi serial.

Sthreepadam is another serial from the same team of Manjurukum Kalam, one of the longest running teledrama on Mazhavil Manorama. Sthreepadam is written by Joyce and John Paul and produced by Unnithan of Sreemovies communications. The family drama is based on a novel written by Joyce and published  in Malyalam Magazine Vanitha.

  The recent promos shows Actress Shelly Kishore of 'Kumkumapoovu', hit serial  on Asianet, to play the lead role as Balasudha, the heroine. The new teledrama will be aired every Monday to Firday at 7:00 PM. The director, full cast actors and actress name all these details are not yet out. Popular actors Lishoy, Ambika Mohan, Sreepadma  etc are part of this tele-series along with new faces in the industry.

Ganga -New Malayalam Serial on Surya TV from March 27th, 2017

Ganga is a new Malayalam Serial on Surya Television Channel. This is the malayalam dubbed version of Sun TV Tamil serial Ganga, the remake of Telugu serial 'Saptha Mathrika' airs on Gemini TV. Ganga will be launched on Surya TV on 27th March 2017 at 8:00 PM. The daily episodes will be telecasted every Monday to Friday at 8-8:30 PM.

Ganga, the super natural fantasy thriller is produced by Home Movie Makers and directed by R. Ilavarasan and N.Sundhareshwaran based on a script by Indhra Soundharajan. Theme music is composed by Srikanth Deva

Actress Piyali P. Munsi is playing the lead characater role of as Abirami in this Malayalam Serial. Mounica, Pradeep, Anuradha, Yuvarani etc are the other popular actors in this soap opera. Piyali Munsi is known to malayalam as Mandodari in epic drama Seethayanam ( Siya ke Ram) on Asianet. Mounica as Ganga, Pradeep Benetto Ryan as Shiva ,Manju Bhargavi / Anuradha as Alangaara are the main cast/character roles in this serial.

Surya Movies Channel | Kiran TV re-branded as Surya Movies from 15th March 2017

Surya Movies- Malayalam Movie Channel : Kiran TV, 24h movie channel from Sun Network is re-branded as Surya Movies. The new channel was launched on 15th March 2017.

Surya Movies is a full time cinema channel now. In addition to this change, Surya TV HD was also launched on 15th March 2017. Sun Network is going for a full swing face change by adding new comedy channel also in to their network as Surya Comedy. Surya TV, Surya Music and Kochu TV are other Malayalam networks currently on Sun Network. They will soon add 24-hour news channel as Surya News. Surya Movies will continue to air Malayalam and Tamil Movies along with dubbed versions of Bollywood and Hollywood movies. Kiran TV became a 24x7 movie channel on July 14, 2013. Ammuvinte Amma - New Malayalam Serial starts on 27th March 2017 On Mazhavil Manorama

Ammuvinte Amma is an upociming malayalam television serial on Mazhavil Manorama Channel. The serial promos on channel and social media suggest a story of mothers love  and sufferings. The promos features a mother and her daughters.
