In this comedy serial Juhi plays the role of  Lekshmi, elder daughter of Balachandran and Neelima.  Biju Sopanam plays the role of  Balu (Balachandran) and Nisha Sarang as Neelima (Neelu).  The role of Lekshmi's sibling are portrayed by  Rishi S Kumar  (as Vishnu /Mudiyan) , Shivani Menon (as Shivani/Shiva) and Al Sabith (as Kesavan/Keshu).

Juhi's character in this serial 'Lechu' represents a teenage girl having lazy, jealous, naughty, bullying nature, but at the same time very loving and caring.  The natural acting and effortless portrayal of  Lechu by Juhi, won her many fans among malayali audience.  Even though she has got enough opportunity to showcase her acting potential, she is not interested take new projects now as recently revealed in an interview to continue her studies. Juhi Rustagi hails from Ernakulam in Kerala. She is a half Malayali. Her mother is from Chottanikkara.  She has a brother and is doing his engineering studies.  She has completed her schooling from Bhavans Munshi Vidyashram, Thiruvankulam, Ernakulam. Due to busy shooting schedule she opted for open school system to finish her higher secondary studies in commerce. Juhi likes to continue her studies and has not committed any other project now. Juhi got opportunity to act in Uppum Mulakum when director R.Unnikrishnan spotted her among his daughter's classmates.

Nisha completed her under graduation from SN College Kollam, after her marriage. Nisha was trained in music and dance from an young age, with specialization in Bharatnatyam. She lives currently with her family in Kakkanadu in Ernakulam. She has mentioned in many interviews that her life was not a happy one and she struggled to make ends meet. Serial and Film Actress Rekha Mohan Found Dead

Malayalam Actress Rekha Mohan found dead inside her flat in Shobha city in Thrissure on 12 November 2016. The reason for her death is still investigated by police. Police suspects that Rekha's death have occurred two days ago.

As her husband, currently in Malysia cannot contact her for the last two days,  he informed her driver and found that her flat was closed for two days. Her driver then informed police and security of the flat. The door was locked from inside. Her flat was then opened in the presence of Police. Her body was then found leaning over the dining table. After completing the inquest, her body was shifted to hospital for postmortem. She is survived by her husband.

This news came as a shock to Malayalam TV and movie industry. Rekha Mohan has acted in many malayalam serials and films. She has acted in  Udyana palakan, Nee Varuvolam and Yathramozhi. She is known to Malayalam Television audience as heroine of Mayamma and Sthreejanmam serials. She was also part of many other TV serials.

Update: Police confirmed after postmortem that she died of heart attack. It is also reported that Rekha was under treatment for cancer for a long time

Mayamohini Serial Actress Sabarna Anand (Suguna) found dead

Sabarna, V actress, RJ and anchor was found dead in  her house at Maduravoyal in Chennai on Friday , 11 November 2016. As Sabarna's house door was not opened for three days and also after getting stinky smell neighbors informed police. Police opened the door and found her dead. A letter was also recovered from her house. The reason behind the unnatural death is not yet known- Is it an accident, suicide or murder?.

Janaki, daughter of Manakkal Govindankutty lost her mother Aswathy on child birth. However, Govindan kutty take her to his new family, including his second wife Vijayamma and his three kids.

Again fate was against Janaki, she was forced to leave that family after the death of her father Govindan kutty. Jani gets attacked was admitted to a hospital where she found her mothers old friend. Her grandfather Balakrisha Panikker then takes her to Jaani’s maternal home. She was welcomed by her relatives as expected.   Monisha plays the role of Janikutty at this stage. Janikutty however completes her studies and try for her dream to enter civil service with the help of her uncle. The story of the tele serial is about how Janikutty survive the hardships in her life and become a strong and successful person.

Career
She started her career as a dancer. She is trained in classical dance since  six-year-old under maestros such as Kalamandalam Kshemavathy and Kalamandalam Prasanna Unni. Malavika debuted into entertainment industry through a documentary Ayisha directed by Lenin Rajendran while studying in Class VI.

It was then that she got a chance to be part of "Kuttikalavara" on  Flowers channel, in which she participated on a temporary basis.  She said that she was removed from the serial earlier itself and didnt inform her about it.  Then  "Karuthamuthu" evicted her from the serial siting this reason and she claims that she never wanted to opt out of the serial intentionally. Chandanamazha Actress Shilpa Found Dead

Shilpa, Malayalam TV and film actress was found dead in Karamana River on 18 July 2015. Her body was recovered from Maruthoorkadavu spot in Karamana river in Thiruvananthapuram. The reason behind the unnatural death is not yet known- Is it an accident, suicide or murder?. The investigation to unravel the mystery of the death of  Shilpa is in progress.

Parents and relatives have filed a police complaint claiming that she was murdered. Shilpa and her friends  left home from Kattakada around 1230 PM along with a girl to attend a function in Balaramapuram and never come back.  Her father tried to contact her around 3.30 pm, but in vain , so she contacted her friend , she informed him that she left earlier. Shilpa's body was found in the river aroung 10 pm on that day. The parents suspect something mysterious had occured during the function at Balaramapuram. Police investigation is in progress.
