Actress Samvrutha Sunil married US based engineer Akhil on November 1, 2012. Akhil Raj, son of Jayaraj and Deepa is originally from Kozhikode. The marriage ceremony took place at Kannur's Vastava Maidan monitored by the pujaris of Munishwaran Kovil. The Muhurtham was between 10:30 am and 11:00 am tomorrow.
A special wedding reception party has also been arranged on November 6 in Meridian hotel in Ernakulam for the friends and close associates of the newly weds. Prominent personalities from the film fraternity are expected to attend the grand reception. Samvrutha Sunil will accompany her husband to California on November 21st.
